COUNTRY ARTISTS
For over a quarter of a century, the name of Country Artists has been synonymous with wildlife figurines and sculptures. From its humble beginnings in a quiet country village in Warwickshire England, to the dynamic internationally known and respected Company of today.
During this early stage the potential of utilizing traditional materials mixed with resins was first developed. This process opened up a whole vista to the modeler and craftsman, and insured the Collector benefited from the more intricate creations now made available.
A mould is made from the master model created by the artist. This mould is then filled with a liquid mix that will cure in the mould. After the mould is removed, the sculpture is inspected and any detail that may have been lost in the
molding is now put back. After thoroughly curing, the delicate task of painted will begin. Only the finest oil based paints are used to bring the sculpture to life. All of the painting is is skillfully done by hand and the artists sign a Certificate of Authenticity for every sculpture they have painted.
